Healing singer-songwriter JessC, who released three albums in Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia, and English within the first half of the year, continues to make waves across the international music scene. Her Mandarin single “My Style” achieved strong chart success on Chinese streaming platforms and radio stations, while her Malay album Dekati successfully entered the Indonesian market, sparking what many described as a “JessC wave.” At the same time, her English single “Six Feet Deep” expanded into Western markets, receiving radio airplay in cities including New York, Vancouver, and Sydney, alongside coverage from more than 250 media outlets across the United States.

Now, another major milestone has arrived. JessC has been officially recognized at the prestigious InterContinental Music Awards 2025 (ICMA), winning the Best Asian Pop category with her song “My Style.”

The award was announced as part of the ICMA’s global main competition segment, where JessC emerged as one of the biggest winners in the “Best of Asia” category. Within just six months, she has gained recognition across the Chinese, Indonesian, and American music markets.

The ICMA main competition is judged by an international panel from the Americas, Europe, Asia, and Africa. “My Style” received high praise for its originality, artistic expression, and cross-cultural impact. The award further highlights the song’s emotional resonance beyond language and geographical boundaries. Winners in the main competition are not only acknowledged by internationally respected judges, but may also gain opportunities to step onto larger global platforms, including events connected to the Grammy music scene.

Currently preparing for her year-end concert tour, JessC expressed that the Best Asian Pop award is not merely a personal achievement, but a collective honor shared by her team and supporters.

JessC also shared that receiving recognition and blessings from the InterContinental Music Awards has given her renewed positive energy. With the global promotional journey for her new single “One Chance” officially underway, the campaign will begin across major cities in the United States this September before expanding into Europe and South America. Her goal is ambitious — to leave musical footprints in “50 countries and 100 cities” before the end of the year.

Following her sold-out performance at Resorts World Genting’s Arena of Stars in May, JessC is set to return to the Malaysian stage on December 20 with her My Style World Tour Concert at Mega Star Arena, Kuala Lumpur. During the concert, she will perform the internationally award-winning song “My Style” alongside more of her original works, sharing this milestone and emotional journey with fans in Malaysia.
